The Useless Staff is a craftable Hardmode magic weapon. One use, it uses one of three different attacks: Holy, Reflect, and Water. By right-clicking, the player can alternate between the four attacks.
Its best modifier is Mythical.
Types

Holy | Fires a bolt of magic that explodes at the cursor's position. Both the bolt and explosion deal damage. |

Reflect | Fires a small mirror towards the cursor's direction; any hostile projectile that comes into contact with the mirror will turn into a white bolt that travels in the opposite direction, dealing damage through enemies and tiles. Deals half the weapon's base damage but has 800% knockback. |

Water | Charges a water wave attack over the course of 1.5 seconds. The water wave travels in both directions, damaging enemies that come into contact with the wave. Deals 150% of the weapon's base damage. |

- This weapon is based off the scepter used by the character Aqua from the series KonoSuba: God's Blessing on this Wonderful World!. The name is derived from the character's frequent referral as a "useless goddess".
