Combustion Vials are craftable, consumable Hardmode vials. They burst into flame clouds when they impact a tile or enemy, dealing area of effect damage and inflicting the On Fire! debuff. Additionally, if there are any gas clouds nearby the weapon's impact point, they will turn into large explosions that inflict the same debuff.
