Playing Cards are consumable Hardmode throwing weapons that can autofire. They are sold by the Party Girl after all Mechanical Bosses have been defeated. They are not affected by gravity and have four different appearances, based on the four suits. Thrown cards have a chance to instead be pink cards that fly faster and create a small area-of-effect explosion upon tile or enemy impact.
Trivia
- This item's effect is based on the character Gabmit from the X-Men series of comic books. Gambit is commonly associated with using his power to throw pink, explosive playing cards.
