Lingering Will in use.

Lingering Will is a craftable Hardmode, post-Plantera melee weapon. It attacks with a three-hit combo towards the direction of the cursor: two vertical slashes, before finishing off with a thrust. The thrust deals 150% of the weapon's damage and inflicts a random debuff on hit between On Fire!, Frostburn, or Shadowflame; it may also inflict Paralyzed, but as its duration ends as soon as it is applied, the debuff is purely for visual effect. There is a delay between the combo finisher and using the weapon again.

Its best modifier is Godly.

  • Its name is a reference to the Lingering Will, a superboss appearing in Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix who wields a stronger version of Earthshaker, Ends of the Earth.
