The Kinetic Knife is a Hardmode magic weapon that is sold by the Weapon Master for 125000*12  50 . It shoots a glowing knife slash projectile that can be controlled with the cursor to manually target enemies, similarly to the Magic Missile. If not held down it will only travel a short distance on its own before dissipating. It can deal constant damage to enemies by being held in place but deals extra damage when used to "slash" enemies by swiping it across them. Its maximum speed is 102 mph, the same as the Mechanical Cart.

Its best modifier is Mythical.
