Hydromancer's Catalyst casting animation.

The Hydromancer's Catalyst is a Hardmode magic weapon that is dropped by the Submerged Mimic. It creates a light blue orb above the caster's head while the attack key is held down. This orb will rapidly send out homing blue tendrils at nearby enemies, damaging them. The orb lasts until the player switches weapons or lets go of the attack key.

Its best modifier is Mythical.

Notes

• The mana cost only takes effect on the initial cast of the weapon. Maintaining the orb will cost the player no additional mana.
