Demon Blood Spear in use.

The Demon Blood Spear is a Hardmode spear that is crafted with Demon Blood Shards. It shoots an after image projectile which hits and pierces through multiple enemies. Hitting enemies with the spear or its projectile generates blood charges, indicated by red globules that surround the wielder. After acquiring 4 blood charges, the next attack using the weapon will consume the charges to deal extra damage and restore some life to the wielder, as well as display a red explosion. However, after this attack, the wielder will receive the Blood Harvest debuff, preventing them from being able to deal this bonus attack again for 10 seconds. Both the spearhead and the projectile also emit particles when swung.
