The Dread Launcher is a craftable Hardmode Launcher. On use, it fires a spread of 4 explosive bombs that explode on contact with a block or enemy. Dealing damage will expel a dread energy particle that surrounds the player for 5 seconds or until it finds a nearby enemy to home in on and damage. Both the bombs and the dread energy inflict the Cursed Inferno debuff on hit.

Like most launchers, it uses basic Rockets as ammunition, but the splash damage of the explosive bombs will not harm the user.
