The Sound Sage's Lament is a craftable Hardmode Bard weapon. It releases a five stave surge from the player's location which moves away from the player and can pierce up to five enemies. The surge's damage increases as it travels, up to 125% extra damage. When used, it empowers nearby players and the user with the Maximum Resource III and Resource Regeneration III empowerments.

Its best modifier is Fabled.
