Hallowed Staff casting animation.

The Hallowed Staff is a craftable Hardmode magic weapon. When used, it creates a circular pattern of 8 enchanted swords surrounding the cursor that, after a slight delay, accelerate inwards to cross at the center of the circle. These swords will pass through all blocks and pierce an infinite amount of enemies.

Its best modifier is Mythical.

Notes

• Since the swords pierce infinite amounts of enemies, this weapon can make short work of enemies with many segments, such as The Destroyer or Wyverns.
• The swords summoned resemble the craftable sword Excalibur.

Tips

• This weapon is incredibly useful when spelunking underground, as the summoned swords spawn at the cursor's location, generate a good amount of light, and pass through all blocks. It may be worthwhile to make this weapon solely for its cave-diving utility even if you do not plan to use it offensively.
