Thorium Mod 1.7.1.6 served to add some donator requests, allow mini-bosses to be refought, fix any bugs not caught in the last patch, and other miscellaneous changes.

Miscellaneous
- The mod now loads 1 second faster!
- Added Marked Grave to Rubblemaker.
- Added Enchanted Pickaxe and Enchanted Staff to Golden and Titanium Crate loot pool.
- Added two configuration options for symphonic weapons to reduce tooltip length, defaulting to new behavior: hold ⇧ Shift key to show empowerments.

- Updated sprites for:
- Scorpain, The Whirlpool, Marine Catcher, Marching Band armor, Cyber Punk armor, Sakura Tree tops, Bloody Pagan Staff (+Malicious Face), Treasure Bag (The Grand Thunder Bird).
- Dream Eater map icon, The Omega Core, Reality Bearer crown.
- Desert Acolyte, Raging Minotaur (+Banner), Corpse Bloom, Corpse Weed, Weed Eater (+Corpse Weed sentry).
- Updated visual indicators for Empowerments, and they now adhere to color ordering when applied simultaneously.
- Updated Transformations to now be able to use healing and buff items directly or via H, J, and B.
- Updated Healing Spells and Support Spells to be placeable in Weapon Racks.
- Updated Opal and Aquamarine Robe to increase Tim's spawn rate like vanilla Gem robes.
- Updated Confused Zombie to now sell Blood Altar if Viscount has been defeated or the Blood Chamber has not been generated in the world.
- Blood Altar can now also be broken if the Blood Chamber has not been generated in the world.
- Grim Pointer will not be sold if the Blood Chamber has not been generated in the world.
- Updated Palm Cross to indicate when it’s fully charged.
- Updated Hex Wand to now very rarely turn hit enemies into Golden Frogs.
- Updated Whispering armor set bonus dialogue to use the same style as Lucy the Axe's, including a new emote. It will now also be visible to all players in multiplayer.
- Changed Spike Bombs, Spiky Caltrops, Bud Bombs and every other tile-resting Thrower weapons so that they no longer fall through platforms.
- Changed One-man Quartet to a post-Plantera weapon by adjusting its stats and making it sold by the Steampunker after defeating Plantera.
- Changed Marching Band armor recipe to require Souls of Light instead of Souls of Night.
- Changed Bird Feeder placement condition to allow 3 to be placeable from the start even with no Pylons placed in the world.
- Changed Mini-boss loot to no longer be sold by the Confused Zombie, Druid, and Wizard as the mini-bosses can now be refought with the introduction of new boss summoning items.
- Changed Sun Priestess, Lihzahrd Pot, and Lihzahrd Mimic to only spawn once Plantera has been defeated.
- Changed Buried Champion and his attacks to be more visibly apparent.
- Changed Corpse Bloom to now start spawning after the player has defeated the Eater of Worlds or Brain of Cthulhu instead of Skeletron, and updated its NPC slot weight to allow less enemies to spawn while active.
- Changed Illusionist NPC slot weight to allow less enemies to spawn while active.
- Changed Druid by allowing her to sell Fertilizer and changing seed selling conditions to match up with the Dryad's Planter Box conditions.
- Updated Druid quotes to address changes above.
- Changed Confused Zombie by no longer selling Grim Pointer if the Blood Chamber has not been generated in the world.
- Changed The Primordials and Dream Eater weapon specific damage resistance values:
- Terraprisma damage increased from 75% to 85%.
- Stardust Dragon Staff damage increased from 66% to 75%.
- Lunar Portal Staff damage decreased from 100% to 75%.
- Removed Enchanted Pickaxe effect recharge sound.
- Removed Music Box (Mini-boss) from Skeleton Merchant shop as mini-bosses are now resummonable.
Balance
- Rebalanced Launch Jumper by buffing explosion damage from 0% to 100% and granting immunity to enemy knockback while held, but nerfing use time from 26 to 30.
- Rebalanced Bassoon by reducing use time from 24 to 18, inspiration cost from 3 to 2, increasing projectile stick time from 0.5–1.5 seconds to 5 seconds and stick count from 4 to 8, but reduced damage from 90 to 74, explosion damage from 200% to 175%, and increased right-click inspiration cost from 0 to 4.
- Rebalanced Idol's Microphone by buffing Charmed infliction chance from 33% to 100%, but nerfing use time from 26 to 30.
- Rebalanced Silver Spear Tip to no longer impede invincibility frames and fly out further, but nerfed damage from 75% to 50%.
- Rebalanced Molten Spear Tip to no longer impede invincibility frames and fly out further, but nerfed damage from 100% to 75%.
- Rebalanced Marching Band armor set bonus to no longer impede invincibility frames, but only deal damage 5 times per second as opposed to 7.5 per second.
- Buffed Micro Launcher to no longer impede I-frames.
- Buffed Hallowed Staff hit rate from 3/sec to 7.5/sec.
- Buffed Useless Staff reflect ability mana cost from 45 to 30.
- Buffed Stellar System orbiting planetoids to no longer impede invincibility frames.
- Buffed Crystal Spear Tip to no longer impede invincibility frames and fly out further.
- Buffed Writhing Sheath blade count from 5 to 8 and now has the ability to damage enemies even after passing through tiles, at 50% of the original damage.
- Buffed One-man Quartet damage from 28 to 30, charge time from 2/sec to 3/sec and Empowerment Flat Damage I to Flat Damage II.
- Buffed Phantom Camera and Palm Cross to now hit through tiles at 50% damage.
- Nerfed Conch Shell, Geyser Staff, and Grave Buster to deal 50% less damage if hitting through tiles.
- Nerfed Quake Gauntlet damage from 105 to 85 and knockback from 8 to 5.
- Nerfed Joyeuse damage from 40 to 38, mana cost from 18 to 28, spinning blade damage from 100% to 40%, and reduced its damage rate while stuck to the ground from once every 0.33 seconds to once every 0.5 seconds.
- Nerfed Sitar use time from 20 to 25.
- Nerfed Weed Eater damage from 28 to 20.
- Nerfed Martyr's Chalice by applying the boss respawn time penalty if the user is not in the vicinity of an active boss in multiplayer.
- Nerfed Corpse Bloom max life from 1250 / 2500 / 3750 to 1100 / 2200 / 3300.
- Nerfed Dream Eater’s ‘Carousel of Death’ attack by reducing its shoot speed and projectile speed moderately.
Fixes
- Fixed Healer Weapons appearing in the "Tools" category in "Recipe Browser" and "HEROs Mod".
- Fixed Bestiary loot for Thorium Mod Bosses appearing in an incorrect order.
- Fixed Thorium Mod Treasure Bags burning in lava.
- Fixed Arthropod proximity check being based on the player’s position rather than the projectiles.
- Fixed Mantis Shrimp Punch dealing damage far more quickly than intended.
- Fixed Livewire Crasher chain offset when launching upwards.
- Fixed Launch Jumper not working if the player does not have a Cobalt Shield effect active on them.
- Fixed Bleeding Heart Staff hovering visual.
- Fixed Weed Eater projectile having a weird visual quirk when firing downwards.
- Fixed Lightning Claves's use sound being louder than intended.
- Fixed The Maw crashing the server in multiplayer if it has nothing to latch on to.
- Fixed Zephyr's Grip not allowing the player to jump up from grappling to a block from the side.
- Fixed Blacksmith's Barrier and similar knockback-reduction gear causing damage sources that don't apply knockback to slow the player.
- Fixed Potion Chaser working on items that heal less than 50.
- Fixed Flail Cores not launching the spike ball if the flail is in spinning mode.
- Fixed Fishing Poles not working with Strings fishing line coloring.
- Fixed Conduit armor martian damage bonus not applying to the Xeno Staff.
- Fixed Thorium's invasion enemies only spawning in the simulated surface layer on the Don't dig up secret world seed.
- Fixed Nestling, Engorged Eye, Le Fantôme, and Corpse Weed not dropping gore or dust upon defeat.
- Fixed Moss Wasp using outdated gore sprites.
- Fixed Star Scouter still dealing contact damage even while “in the background” in Expert Mode.
- Fixed Corpse Weed Bestiary entry not being fully unlocked when Corpse Bloom is defeated.
