The One-man Quartet is a Hardmode Bard weapon that is sold by the Steampunker for 25 after Plantera has been defeated. Holding the attack button will charge up the weapon. The charge is split into 5 segments that each take half a second and 3 inspiration to charge, indicted by a meter that fills behind the player. Releasing the attack button will rapidly unleash a barrage of soundwave projectiles with a slight angle variance, draining from the meter until empty. The soundwaves deal an additional 5% damage for each level of meter charge before firing, up to a maximum of 25% additional damage. The player cannot swap weapons while firing the weapon.
Right-clicking with the One-man Quartet will instead cause the player to honk a horn, increasing their aggro by 1000 for 10 seconds.
When used, it empowers nearby players and the user with the Flat Damage II and Damage III empowerments.
Its best modifier is Fabled.
Notes
- When the One-man Quartet is held by the player, the horns appear on the player's back.
- Each segment of charge fires 6 soundwaves, for a total of 30 shots from a full meter.
- If the player does not have enough inspiration to increase the meter, the weapon will automatically begin to fire.
