The Thunderstruck is a Hardmode Bard weapon that can be purchased from the Weapon Master during a Thunderstorm. By holding the attack button, the player will charge a large lightning blast projectile over the course of 1 second. The lightning blast pierces through enemies and bounces off tiles.
Right-clicking with the Thunderstruck instead spawns an amp at the player's position. All players in the amp's radius (indicated by a blue circle around it, and electricity connecting it and players) will gain the Amped Up buff, granting an extra 6% critical strike chance. Additionally, charging the Thunderstruck's main attack while in the amp's radius will take twice as long, but fires a lightning orb that continually fires 6 lightning blasts in the direction of the cursor. The main attack will behave as normal while a lightning orb is active. The amp will despawn after 1 minute.
When used, it empowers nearby players and the user with the Defense II and Invincibility Frames III empowerments.
Its best modifier is Fabled.
