The Promethean Staff is a craftable Post-Moon Lord sentry summon weapon. On use, it summons a friendly echo of Slag Fury for 10 minutes. Once summoned, the Slag Fury Echo will periodically generate a fire barrier, and rapidly blast homing fire bullets at enemies.
Its best modifier is Ruthless. The Mythical modifier provides the widest array of stat bonuses, but these primarily affect the initial summon rather than the resulting minion. Additionally, Minions cannot deal critical hits. The only significant advantage a Mythical Promethean Staff has over a Ruthless one is knockback.
