The Terra Knife is a craftable, non-consumable Hardmode throwing weapon that can autofire. It rapidly throws terra daggers that are not affected by gravity. Right-clicking with the weapon will instead throw an impaling knife, which sticks into the hit enemy for 10 seconds; while the knife is stuck, the user will constantly unleash terra energy tendrils that seek out the impaling knife's target to deal additional damage. Only one impaling knife can be stuck in an enemy at a time.
Like most non-consumable throwing weapons, using this weapon builds up an exhaustion meter that appears below the player. Not using the weapon will make the meter slowly go back down. However, if it becomes completely filled, the user will be inflicted with the Exhaustion debuff, causing all non-consumable throwing weapons to deal massively decreased damage for some time. The meter resets after the debuff ends.
Its best modifier is Unreal.
