The Dark Wave is a Pre-Hardmode magic weapon that is crafted from Demonite Bars. It fires a wave of dark energy that will damage enemies and inflict them with the Light Curse debuff for 2 seconds.
Its best modifier is Mythical.

- The Crimson counterpart for Dark Wave is Vessel Buster.
- Aesthetically, it matches the Shadow armor and all other Demonite-based weaponry.
