The Omega Blaster is a craftable Hardmode magic weapon. By holding the attack button, the player will charge a large energy blast projectile over the course of 1 second. The energy blast can hit up to 2 enemies. Damaging enemies will also fill a gauge below the player; it will be fully charged after 10 attacks.
Right-clicking after the gauge becomes fully charged will empower the main attack and drain the gauge over the course of 10 seconds. The empowered energy blast will home onto enemies and create a lingering explosion on hit. The explosion can hit enemies multiple times, but at 40% of the base weapon's damage.
Whenever the player is using this weapon, they will be locked in place and unable to move horizontally or vertically. This also removes any prior momentum the player may had had.
Its best modifier is Mythical.
