Version history |
Thorium Mod 1.7.0.0 is the first update using the 1.4+ versions of Terraria, serving as an intermediary update before beginning its full overhaul process; this patch ports the mod while adding support for new features like Master Mode, Journey Mode, the Bestiary, Town NPC happiness, and more. Additionally, the patch changes many items, from removals to visual overhauls and rebalancing.

- Changed Old God's Vision to now target up to 10 enemies at once, inflict Insanity onto hit enemies, and its projectiles now instantly damage the targeted enemies every 0.5 seconds.

- No longer applies ichor to hit enemies but buffed damage from 200 to 220, and use time from 10 to 8.
- Now fires its comet every 10 shots instead of randomly.
- 8 instances of homing energy are now produced from the first hit of the comet, and heals 5 life per hit if the player has less than 50% life.
- Changed Terrarian's Last Knife:
- Left-click lifesteal values changed from 5% of damage dealt to 4% of damage dealt.
- Right-click projectile now costs 5% of the player's maximum life but now deals 300% damage.
- Changed Soul of Plight to now drop from all enemies slain in the Underworld.
- Changed Crystal Geode crafting recipe from 1 Crystal Shards and Gems to 2 Crystal Shards and 8 Pearlstone Blocks.

- Changed the following items to all share a common loot pool instead of each having a drop chance independent of one another: Tranquilizer Gun, Moonlight Staff, Lullaby.

- Nerfed Prehistoric Amber Staff damage from 18 to 12 and buffed Ptero minion attack speed from 1.5 per second to 2.
