Thorium Mod 1.7.0.2 served to fix some issues and inconsistencies not found in 1.7.0.0 to 1.7.0.1 as well as add some missing items.

- Changed maximum Inspiration obtainability slightly:
- Inspiration Shards and Inspiration Crystals now use an Inspiration Fragment in its recipe instead of Thorium Bars.
- Talking to the Guide while holding an instrument for the first time will give the player a free Inspiration Fragment and explain how to further increase maximum inspiration.
- Changed Darksteel Broadsword to now create an enemy-stunning spike on right-click.
- Changed Yew Wood Bow, Yew Wood Flintlock, and Goblin Warpipe to shoot out wooden shrapnel when critically striking or mini-critting.
- Changed The Massacre to no longer receive influence from rocket ammunition types.
- Changed Lodestone Staff to now function as a channeled eruption of earth. The longer you channel, the bigger the eruption size and damage.
- Changed Obsidian Rackett and Obsidian Strikers to only take Obsidian in their crafting recipes.
- Changed Drum Mallet to no longer deal damage like a broadsword. Instead, swinging to hit the placed drum will create a small damaging effect similar to the Bongos.
- Changed Sonic Amplifier:
- No longer naturally grants a life shield on hit. Instead, damage from the left- or right-click fills up a gauge.
- Shortly after the gauge is filled, you release a massive audio pulse, gaining 50 life shield and damaging all enemies around the player.
- Additionally, the pulse grants you and nearby allies 10 seconds of Movement Speed IV, Life Regeneration IV, Attack Speed IV, and Resource Regeneration IV empowerments.
- Changed Jelly Pond Wand, Inferno Staff, and Holy Fire to now interact with platforms.
- Changed Mjölnir to now pierce through walls, deal more damage, and release electric fragments at the apex of its trajectory.
- Changed White Knight armor set bonus:
- No longer grants mana on hit.
- Instead, 40% of the mana the player spends is stored as energy up to 2× the player's maximum mana.
- Pressing the Armor Ability key will replenish mana and life equal to 100% and 10% of the energy used.
- The energy used will never exceed 100% of the player's maximum mana, effectively allowing them to store two full replenishes of mana along with the healing it provides.
- Changed Terrarium armor set bonus class "focus" calculation:
- Changed Research Probe to have a 4 second cooldown for its visual effect, increasing the time between visual effects up to 7 seconds.
- Changed Thorium Mod Town NPCs to not Love / Hate any biomes.
- Changed Cobbler to sell different Hermes Boots variants based on where his home currently is.
- Changed Cobbler to sell Crash Boots after defeating Eater of Worlds or Brain of Cthulhu instead of Skeletron.
- Changed Desert Acolyte to now also maximize Wind speed when starting a Sandstorm.
- Changed Ancient Phylactery to be sold by the Confused Zombie after defeating all three Mechanical Bosses.
- Changed Engorged Eye and Blood Mage loot to better align with vanilla Blood Moon enemy loot tables.
- Changed Strange Alien Tech drop chance from 20% to 33%. Additionally, it now has a chance to drop more than one at a time.
- Changed Viscount's more dangerous "long range echo shot" to have a different color to better alert the player of its existence.
Balance
- Rebalanced Glacier damage from 42 to 50, use time from 22 to 28, and now has the ability to release a trail of icicles on hit every 4 seconds.
- Rebalanced Master's Libram:
- Projectiles no longer impede each other's invincibility frames, regardless of book type.
- Buffed Dark Scythe book damage from 100% to 135%.
- Nerfed damage from 30 to 25.
- Nerfed Crystal Storm book damage from 80% to 50%.
- Nerfed Golden Shower book damage from 60% to 50%.
- Rebalanced Moray:
- Buffed head damage from 18 / 36 / 54 to 24 / 48 / 72 and nerfed defense from 8 to 2.
- Nerfed body defense from 8 to 6.
- Nerfed tail damage from 12 / 24 / 36 to 8 / 16 / 24 and buffed defense from 8 to 10.
- Buffed Inspiration regeneration slightly, allowing for a faster inspiration regeneration rate. This is mostly noticeable when the player has more than 30 max inspiration.
- Buffed Eclipse Fang enemy kill requirement from 50 to 40, use time from 14 to 13, damage increase after empowering from +75% to +100%, and debuff durations from 3 seconds / 2 seconds to 5 seconds / 3 seconds.
- Buffed Hand Cannon explosion range and radius greatly.
- Buffed The Massacre charge speed from 1.5 seconds max to 1 seconds max, and charging damage amplification from 0% to 50% at max.
- Buffed Valkyrie Blade attack speed from 4 per second to 5 per second, and increased its chase speed.
- Buffed Pill Popper use time from 18 to 12, but damage from 58 to 52.
- Buffed Shooting Star Blast-Guitar damage from 120 to 172, and falling star damage from 25% to 33%.
- Buffed Sound Sage's Lament damage from 104 to 118, use time from 34 to 26, and the projectiles now last a little longer.
- Buffed Portable Wintergatan damage from 32 to 46, and inspiration cost from 4 to 3.
- Buffed Turtle Drums damage from 78 to 88, use time from 30 to 26, and bonus damage to grounded enemies from 25% to 50%.
- Buffed Sonic Amplifier damage from 150 to 305 and bonus critical strike chance from 6% to 16%, but reduced right-click damage from 200% to 150%.
- Buffed Terrarium Backlash by making it increase the damage the afflicted enemy takes from all sources by 10%.
- Buffed Lich's Cowl Technique Point increase from 1 to 2.
- Nerfed Butterfly Staff attack speed from 0.75 per second to 1 per second.
- Nerfed Steamgunner Controller damage from 18 to 15, and shoot speed from 6/sec to 4/sec.
- Nerfed Blooming Shuriken use time from 24 to 38.
- Nerfed Poison Prickler use time from 18 to 22 and right-click attack by making each puff share invincibility frames, but now has infinite pierce.
- Buffed Hopping Spider defense from 0 to 2.
- Nerfed Abyssal Angler life from 200 / 400 / 600 to 80 / 160 / 240 and buffed defense from 0 to 20.
- Nerfed Life Crystal Mimic custom life and damage progression scaling.
- Nerfed Scouter Core blast attack damage from 35 / 70 / 105 to 25 / 50 / 75 and beam attack damage from 20 / 40 / 60 to 15 / 30 / 45.
- Nerfed The Primordials maximum life from 150000 / 210000 / 267750 to 120000 / 168000 / 214200 and nerfed defense from 60 to 30.
- Nerfed Omnicide, the Life Defiler defense from 80 to 40.
Fixes
- Fixed some typos and awkward lines of text.
- Fixed unintentional violation of the Geneva Conventions Act.
- Fixed some projectiles sometimes getting stuck inside tiles instead of going through.
- Fixed removed "Firestorm Boots" being researchable in Journey Mode.
- Fixed Purified Waters referring to some strange character that doesn't exist.
- Fixed Magma Gill, Flaming Crack-Gut, and Lil' Guppy not being placeable inside a Weapon Rack.
- Fixed Pill right-click not having autoswing.
- Fixed Pill, Syringe, Hot Pot, and Soul Bomb not working as intended with the "Remnants Mod" enabled.
- Fixed Off-Key weapon modifier never appearing on symphonic weapons.
- Fixed Scorpain tail coming from the player instead of the yoyo, not damaging without line of sight, and desynchronization in multiplayer.
- Fixed Arthropod attack checking for the player's proximity as opposed to the yoyo's.
- Fixed Javelin and Bone Javelin activating Thrower on-hit effects.
- Fixed most shooting minions having infinite range.
- Fixed Valefor not facing the correct direction.

- Fixed Mantis Cane and Yarn Ball minions falling through platforms when fighting small enemies like Slimes.
- Fixed Hired Demon spawning more than once in multiplayer.
- Fixed Drill Dart ignoring immunity frames after going through solid tiles.
- Fixed Cybernetic Sphere animation and some visual indicators not appearing when using Transformations.
- Fixed Novice Cleric armor, Silk armor, and Celestial armor displaying skin on certain frames.
- Fixed Illumite armor set bonus not working with Phantom Phoenix, Phantasm, Vortex Beater, and Celebration Mk2.
- Fixed Terrarium armor set bonus not taking buffs into account when determining the class focus.
- Fixed Writhing Sheath void blades repeating their spawn visuals.

- Fixed some Jungle enemies spawning in water when they shouldn't.
- Fixed special Mimics not having a spawn limit of 1.
- Fixed Astro Beetle, Martian Sentry, and Martian Scout not appearing in the bestiary.
- Fixed Bloody Warg and Smothering Shade not leaving and despawning during daytime, and Blood Mage healing enemies during daytime.
- Fixed Sea-Shanty Singer not having a walk animation.
- Fixed Coolmera not registering as defeated in multiplayer.
- Fixed Lihzahrd Pot Mimics dropping post-Plantera materials before killing Plantera.
- Fixed Viscount inflicting players with Vampire's Curse not despawning their grappling hooks.
- Fixed Star Scouter laser attacks being affected by gravity and being the wrong color in some cases.
