The Tentacle Ball is a Hardmode light pet summoning item that has a chance to be dropped by the Fallen Beholder in Master Mode. It spawns a Tentacle Ball pet to follow you around. The Tentacle Ball is immune to damage from enemies and despawns upon player death.

Instead of providing lighting, the Tentacle Ball pet will seek out nearby items and pick them up for the player.
