The Insect Repellent is an enemy repellent that, when consumed, provides the player the Insect Repellent buff, which causes most insect enemies to become passive, causing them to not deal damage to, nor pursue, the player. As with all repellents, it is provided by the Confused Zombie every half day for 1 .

The buff lasts for five minutes and, like all buffs, can be canceled at any time by right-clicking the icon. It will also be automatically canceled should the player consume a different repellent.
