The Blood Altar is a furniture item that generates naturally in underground Blood Chambers. It allows the player to summon Viscount at the cost of 5 Unholy Shards. It is also sold by the Confused Zombie for 5  if Viscount has been defeated or the Blood Chamber has not generated in the world.

Notes

• The Grim Pointer points to the original generation position of your world's Blood Altar.
• The Blood Altar nor the blocks beneath it cannot be broken until Viscount has been defeated.
  • However, if the world does not have a Blood Chamber, the Blood Altar can be broken.
