The Whispering Shell is a Hardmode Master Mode-exclusive pet summoning item that has a chance to be dropped by the Forgotten One. It spawns a Creature pet to follow you around. The Creature is immune to damage from enemies and despawns upon player death.

The Creature frequently teleports. It will never enter the player's line of sight; whenever the player turns, it will teleport behind them.
