The Gorgon Coating is a coating that, when consumed, provides the player the Gorgon Juice Thrown Weapon imbue, which causes throwing attacks to have a chance to inflict the Petrify debuff for 1.5 seconds, freezing hit enemies in place; however, bosses cannot receive this effect.

The buff lasts for ten minutes and, like all buffs, can be canceled at any time by right-clicking the icon.
