Illumite armor
Illumite armor is a craftable Hardmode armor set crafted from Illumite Ingots. It takes a total of 48 Illumite Ingots to craft a full suit.
It consists of a Illumite Mask, Illumite Chestplate and Illumite Greaves.
The Illumite Mask gives 14 defense, 5% increased ranged damage and 10% increased ranged critical strike chance; the Illumite Chestplate gives 18 defense, 10% increased ranged damage, 18% increased firing speed and a 20% chance to not consume ammo; and the Illumite Greaves gives 16 defense, 8% increased ranged damage, 6% increased critical strike chance and 15% increased movement speed.
A full set provides a total of 48 defense, 23% increased ranged damage, 16% increased ranged critical strike chance, 18% increased firing speed, 15% increased movement speed and a 20% chance to not consume ammo. Its set bonus gives the majority of ranged weapons special properties, based off of whether they are a bow, gun, or launcher:
- Every 5 bullets shot, an additional illumite bullet will be fired, which can hit multiple enemies.
- Every 4 arrows shot, an additional burst of three illumite energy projectiles will be fired, which spreads out the farther it travels.
- Every 3 rockets shot, an additional illumite missile will be fired, which creates a unique pink area-of-effect explosion upon hitting an enemy or tile.
The damage the additional projectiles deal is based off of the weapon used to fire them.
