The Pocket Fusion Generator is a craftable Pre-Hardmode, post-Skeletron accessory. When equipped, a nebula will build up matter above the player over the length of 10 seconds, indicated by it becoming more opaque. Whilst building up, the player's defense will be slowly increased up to a maximum of 6 additional defense.

Once the nebula has been fully built up, pressing the Accessory Ability key will cause it to collapse, creating a static star projectile that constantly fires lasers at nearby enemies for 5 seconds. Each laser deals 18 damage. Creating the star projectile will remove the player's defense bonus, and a new nebula will not begin to build up until after 3 seconds have passed.
