Steel armor is an armor set that is sold by the Blacksmith before the Wall of Flesh is defeated. In Hardmode, the Blacksmith sells the Durasteel armor instead.
It consists of a Steel Helmet, Steel Chestplate and Steel Greaves.
The Steel Helmet gives 4 defense, the Steel Greaves gives 5 defense, and the Steel Chestplate gives 6 defense.
A full set provides a total of 15 defense. Its set bonus reduces damage taken by 8%.
