A Suspicious Golden Key is an item that can be bought from the Tracker after finishing the "Fool's Gold" contract. When the key is placed in an empty chest it spawns an ordinary Mimic which varies in looks depending on the location, an Ice Mimic while in an Ice biome, or a Lihzahrd Mimic while in a Jungle Temple. The world must be in Hardmode and the key must be the only item inside the chest.

Notes

• Mimics spawned with a Suspicious Golden Key will not drop Vanquisher Medals, Proof of Avarice, or Fake Coins.
