Life Quartz is a pre-Hardmode ore. It generates naturally in the world upon creation uncommonly in the Underground and Cavern layers, in small quantities. It can also be obtained from Life Crystal Mimics, crafted from Life Crystals, and found in Scarlet Crates.
It can be mined with any pickaxe.
