Obsidian Scale
The Obsidian Scale is a craftable shield accessory that increases defense by 2, as well as halving the amount of knockback the player receives from taking damage and providing immunity to knockback and fire blocks. It also causes nearby enemies to be inflicted with the Hellfire debuff.

- Buffed debuff inflicted from On Fire! to Melting.
- Obsidian Shield replaced with Obsidian Skull and Blacksmith's Barrier in its recipe.
- 1.5.1.0: Changed effect to setting nearby enemies on fire. Decreased defense from 3 to 2.
- 1.2.13.2: Now crafted at the Tinkerer's Workshop.
