The Demon Blood Crossbow is a craftable Hardmode repeater. It shoots two arrows in quick succession, although it consumes both. It causes any arrows fired from the repeater to generate blood charges, indicated by red globules that surround the wielder. After acquiring 4 blood charges, the next attack using the weapon will consume the charges to deal extra damage and restore some life to the wielder, as well as display a red explosion. However, after this attack, the wielder will receive the Blood Harvest debuff, preventing them from being able to deal this bonus attack again for 10 seconds. This does not replace any of the functions the base arrow has.

It is the repeater counterpart to the Demon Blood Bow.
