The Metronome is a craftable Pre-Hardmode Bard accessory. When equipped, every 3 seconds will grant or inflict the player with the Tick buff or Tock debuff. The Tick buff increases symphonic playing speed and damage by 10%, while the Tock debuff decreases symphonic speed and damage by 5%.

- The buffs and debuffs from the Metronome equal out to a 5% increase in symphonic playing speed and damage.
History
- 1.4.3.7: Tock debuff now only decreases symphonic playing speed and damage by 5% instead of 10%.
