Battle Sprout

The Living Wood Acorn is a Pre-Hardmode summon weapon that summons a Battle Sprout minion that follows the player and attacks enemies via a ranged bud attack. By right-clicking, the player can alternate between 5 possible modes to interact with the minion: Return, Rally, Target, Attack, and Ability. Like other minions, the summoned Battle Sprout is invincible and follows the player for an unlimited amount of time, unless the player dies or cancels the buff.

Unlike other minions, the Battle Sprout does not count toward the Minion cap. Only one Battle Sprout may be active at once.

Its best modifier is Ruthless. The Mythical modifier provides the widest array of stat bonuses, but these primarily affect the initial summon rather than the resulting minion. Additionally, Minions cannot deal critical hits. The only significant advantage a Mythical Living Wood Acorn has over a Ruthless one is knockback.
