The Spring Hook is a Pre-Hardmode grappling hook that can be obtained from Scarlet Chests and Scarlet Crates. It launches a single hook that reaches 17 tiles at maximum. Unlike other grappling hooks, the hook making contact with a tile does not grapple the player to its position; instead, the player is propelled in the opposite direction of the hook.
