The Cybernetic Sphere is a Transformation tool that is sold by the Cyborg. When used, it transforms the user into a Robotic Ball. While transformed, the player can fit through 2-block tall gaps and has a top speed of 41 miles per hour, can cling to walls and ceilings, but cannot use items with the exception of Soul Link.

Like other Transformation items, it can go into the Mount equipment slot, and as such cannot be used while the player is on a Mount.

Trivia

• The design of the item and the transformation is a reference to the Spider Ball power-up from the Metroid video game series.
  • The colors and the shape chosen for the item are also a slightly less obvious reference to Wheatley, a character from the Portal video game series.
  • The tooltip of the buff is a reference to Drake and Josh.
