The Molten Collar is a Hardmode mount summoning item. When used, it summons an Infernal Hound that can run insanely fast.
It is dropped by Infernal Hounds at a 2% (1/50) chance. The mount's top speed is 71 miles per hour. It can walk on fire blocks and reduces fall damage by 80%.

- 1.6.3.0: Nerfed top speed from 76 to 71 and buffed fall damage reduction from 50% to 80%.
