Not to be confused with Cloud in a Bottle.
For the ambient clouds that are part of the background, see Ambient entities § List of clouds.
Clouds, Rain Clouds and Snow Clouds emit big fluffy particles when walked or landed on.

Cloud is a type of block found beneath Floating Islands, along with Rain Cloud blocks; on the Desktop version Desktop version, Console version Console version, and Mobile version Mobile version, they can be found in stacks in Skyware Chests, Sky Crates and Azure Crates as well. Cloud blocks display as solid blocks, but light passes through them as if they were empty space. On the Desktop version Desktop version, Console version Console version, and Mobile version Mobile version, landing on them will not inflict fall damage.

Tips

  • The Cloud block is useful for decorating player-built Floating Islands.
  • Cloud blocks can be used as an alternative to Glass for building translucent structures as it also allows light to pass through.
  • (Desktop, Console and Mobile versions) Clouds can be used at the bottom of hellevators to avoid dying from fall damage.
    • The fall damage prevention also includes damage caused by the Stoned debuff.
