Chlorophyte Bars are a type of Hardmode bar that are crafted from (Desktop, Console and Mobile versions) 5 / (Old-gen console and 3DS versions) 6 Chlorophyte Ores, an ore which can be found in the Underground Jungle and mined once all three mechanical bosses have been defeated.

Crafting all items that require Chlorophyte would use a total of (Desktop, Console and Mobile versions) 701 / (Old-gen console version) 544 / 476 Chlorophyte Bars or (Desktop, Console and Mobile versions) 3505 / (Old-gen console version) 3264 / 2856 Chlorophyte Ore. Excluding Spectre and Shroomite items and Chlorophyte ammo, crafting all equipment requires (Desktop, Console and Mobile versions) 366 / (Old-gen console version) 302 / (3DS version) 288 bars or (Desktop, Console and Mobile versions) 1830 / (Old-gen console version) 1812 / 1728 ore.

• The name Chlorophyte is derived from chlorophyll, the color pigment responsible for photosynthesis, plus the common rock suffix -ite.
