Blast Shield animation.
The Blast Shield is a Hardmode shield accessory that is sold by the Weapon Master after defeating Golem. It provides increased damage resistance and immunity to enemy knockback, as well as making enemies more likely to target you. Additionally, it causes an explosion when its wearer is damaged, damaging enemies all around them, the explosion damage scales with the amount of defense the player has; this effect has to recharge for 3 seconds after being used.
Notes
- If the
Show Donator Item Colorconfiguration option is disabled, the Blast Shield will have a rarity of
instead of the standard . - Both the Blast Shield and Terrarium Defender have the "-Omni Shield-" tag in their description, and cannot be worn simultaneously.
