Thorium Mod 1.7.2.0 served to rebalance a large majority of Bard content to bring its damage more in line with other classes. Additionally, it adds a variety of miscellaneous content, including a new wood type and previously-missed donator items.

- Changed Cursed Block to no longer blend with blocks that blend with everything.
- Changed Refined Marine Block to blend with everything.
- Changed Cut Sandstone Block, Cut Sandstone Block Slab, Cut Stone Block, and Cut Stone Block Slab to no longer blend; They now act like Stone Accent Slabs, with the exception that the slab and non-slab versions blend together.
- Changed Bookshelf Block and Potion Shelf Block to now allow bidirectional blending with Evergreen Block, Smooth Wood, and Yew Wood.
Balance
Bard
Rebalanced many Bard items in an effort to bring their performance more in-line with the other classes:
- Rebalanced Mix Tape and Diss Track by making the music notes fly out further when proccing, but adjusted their invisibility frame interactions, resulting in less overall damage against single targets.
- Buffed Empowerment - Movement Speed to now also grant acceleration speed.
- Buffed Big Instrument maximum bonus damage from 120% to 150%.
- Buffed Guitar Pick bonus bounce amount from 1 additional time to 2 additional times.
- Buffed Guitar Pick Claw bonus bounce amount from 2 additional times to 3 additional times.
- Brass instruments:
- Rebalanced Trombone hit rate from 4/sec to 5/sec and inspiration consumption rate from 5/sec to 4/sec, but lowered its damage from 31 to 30.
- Rebalanced Zunpet damage from 38 to 40 and right-click Star Bomb damage from 100% to a guaranteed 400% damage critical hit, but it now only damages enemies once per star.
- Buffed Vicious Mockery damage from 16 to 18.
- Buffed Conch Shell damage from 26 to 28.
- Buffed Hot Horn damage from 26 to 30 and lowered its velocity (resulting in increased DPS).
- Buffed Dragon's Wail damage from 33 to 40.
- Buffed Flesh Horn damage from 76 to 82 and Ichor duration from 5 seconds to 10 seconds.
- Buffed Serpent's Cry damage from 47 to 48.
- Buffed 24-Carat Tuba damage from 44 to 46, explosion radius by 100%, and Midas duration from 5 seconds to 10 seconds.
- Buffed Shadowflame Warhorn damage from 51 to 68 and Shadowflame duration from 1.5 seconds to 5 seconds.
- Buffed Ghastly French Horn vortex radius greatly and explosion damage from 100% to a guaranteed 200% damage crit.
- Buffed Organ damage from 45 to 46, use time from 25 to 18, and projectile penetration from 1 to 2.
- Buffed Betsy's Bellow damage from 76 to 82, use time from 57 to 40, and projectile count from 1 to 2.
- Percussion instruments:
- Rebalanced Marine Wine Glass use time from 20 to 14 and glass fragments now ignore each other's invincibility frames, but nerfed its damage from 26 to 22, projectile count from 8 to 5, and shatter damage from 150% to 100%.
- Rebalanced Vinyl Record damage from 30 to 58, inspiration cost from 2 to 1, but nerfed its use time from 20 to 26.
- Buffed Drum Mallet use time from 26 to 22.
- Buffed Lightning Claves hit rate from 3/sec to 7/sec and reduced its knockback from 5 to 1 (resulting in increased DPS typically).
- Buffed Seashell Castanets charge bonus from +50% damage, speed, and knockback per charge to +100% damage, speed, and knockback per charge.
- Buffed Ebonwood and Shadewood Tambourine right-click inspiration cost from 2 to 0, hit rate from 6/sec to 10/sec, hitbox size moderately, and right-click can be used more quickly after being thrown out.
- Buffed Sinister Honk damage from 18 to 20.
- Buffed Blooming Bell damage from 15 to 18, hit rate from 6/sec to 7/sec, and duration from 2 seconds to 3 seconds.
- Buffed Bongos use time from 30 to 26.
- Buffed Bronze Tuning Fork use time from 18 to 14, velocity from 10 to 12, and Tuned duration from 15 seconds to 20.
- Buffed Resonator's Arm damage from 38 to 62.
- Buffed Frostwind Cymbals damage from 28 to 52 and max freeze duration from 2.5 seconds to 7.5 seconds.

- Rebalanced Lullaby damage increase per bounce from 20% to 25%, base bounce amount from 2 to 3, and penetration amount from 1 to infinite, but reduced its change stun duration from 1 second + .5 seconds per bounce to 1 second per bounce.
- Rebalanced Sunflare Guitar damage from 48 to 64, inspiration cost from 2 to 1, but nerfed use time from 18 to 24.
- Buffed Nocturne damage from 40 to 50 and Shadowflame duration from 2 seconds to 10 seconds.

- Buffed Violin damage from 39 to 56 and use time from 16 to 14.

- Buffed Snowstorm Banjo damage from 38 to 72, inspiration cost from 2 to 1, and use time from 24 to 20.
- Buffed Greedful Gurdy damage from 36 to 58 and Audio Overload duration from 2 seconds to 5 seconds.

- Rebalanced Quake Gauntlet damage from 85 to 124, but reduced its right-click damage from 600% to 500%.
- Buffed Super Plasma Cannon splitting projectiles to no longer interfere with invincibility frames, but deal 40% damage instead of 50%.

- Buffed Aquatic Depths Crate and Abyssal Crate unique item drop chance from 20% to 100%.
- Buffed Angel's End, Life and Death, and Sonic Amplifier drop rates from 11.11% to 22.22% to match 1.4.4 Moon Lord drop rates.
- Nerfed Sparking Jelly Ball damage from 50 to 42 and critical hit chance from 25% to 10%.

- Nerfed Water Chestnut drop rate from vines from 100% to 50%.
- Rebalanced some NPC shop values to prevent infinite money exploits.
Fixes
- Fixed various typos.
- Fixed life regeneration values in armor tooltips displaying double their intended value.
- Fixed "Hold 'Shift' to show empowerments" functionality not working when playing on a gamepad/controller, now displaying the key/button.
- Fixed visual glitch on orbiting projectiles when stepping up or down tiles.
- Fixed certain item glowmasks being offset when held/used.
- Fixed some projectiles assuming the wrong light position, causing them to turn dark when the player is in a dark location.
- Fixed Energy Storm Partisan not causing a multi hit explosion due to melee speed being too quick in most situations.
- Fixed The Javelin not shooting modded rockets.
- Fixed Distress Caller scaling twice as much from damage bonuses.
- Fixed The Digester not being obtainable from Jungle or Bramble Crates.
- Fixed Scythe of Undoing transformed left-click spam generating a ton of Soul Essence.
- Fixed Snack-o'-Lantern checking distance to the wrong player, allowing for infinite range heals.
- Fixed Drum Mallet bouncing effect endlessly growing in some cases.

- Fixed Phantom Thief Wig pigtail not displaying over the player's front arm as intended.
- Fixed Music Players, Conductor's Baton, Subwoofer, Devil's Subwoofer, and Terrarium Surround Sound only working with players on the same team.
- Fixed "lowest health ally" detection for life cost radiant weapons, Head Mirror, and Inner Flame ignoring teams and ignoring allies if the player’s own health loss is higher.
- Fixed Murky Catalyst and Smothering Band activating on actions that consume no mana.
- Fixed Air Walkers allowing to clip through the ceiling.
- Fixed Potion Chaser working with non-Potion items healing at least 50, such as Water Chestnut.
- Fixed Greedy Goblet not providing Luck.
- Fixed Musician's Handbook playing slower in modded accessory slots.
- Fixed Inspiration Fragment and its upgrades not playing a sound when consumed.
